SYNOPSIS: In 1984 María Zambrano returns to Spain. The Franco regime kept her away from our country for 45 years. Maria had her great recognition when she was awarded Cervantes Prize, the first time it was granted to a woman. This film does not aim to produce a comprehensive biography of the philosopher, but rather to pass on, especially to younger audiences, the importance of the existence of a woman who made thought a poetic and personal commitment. The protagonist of this film, a journalist (Lola) in her thirties, who comes to cover the press conference marking the Cervantes Award to Maria Zambrano, slips into the recovery of historical memory, almost without realizing it. She has barely any information on her, but there is no need, since this woman´s words immediately awaken her curiosity to look beyond the news
