FILM-MAKING WORKSHOPs


PROGRAM
INITIATION TO VIDEO MAPPING WORKSHOP

Held by Paramotion Films.

Workshop where you can investigate and experiment with the technique of video mapping, which consists of projecting images onto various surfaces or buildings, to achieve 3D or motion effects, generating very striking and original optical effects.

Dates: Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th November.
Place: Multipurpose classroom at La Cárcel. Segovia_Creative Centre.
Duration: 8 hours approx.
Timetable: 16:00 to 20:00 hours
Number of students per session: 10 persons. Free of charge.
Aim: To initiate students in the technique of video mapping
Participant profile: Persons over 16 years of age, interested in the audiovisual field.
Requisites: Each participant will have to bring a laptop with the After Effects postproduction program installed and have basic knowledge of this software. A trial version can be downloaded from:

Content: Everyone will work with a cardboard scale model onto which one’s own video mapping will be projected after the workshop.

DUBBING AND VOICEOVER WORKSHOP

Held by the Alvaro Hache Dubbing School

This is a course in interpretation and professional dubbing, aimed both at experienced actors who wish to improve their techniques, maintain their vocal “training” and develop and extend their interpretation skills in this field, and at those who wish to make a start in the world of Interpretation, Dubbing and Voiceover.

Aims: To equip students with the theory and practice of the various techniques of Interpretation, Dubbing and Voiceover and give them the best possible "start" on the professional circuit .

Participant profile: Actors and actresses, participants in theatre workshops and courses, broadcasters, university students, general public with an interest in acting.

Content: 1. Dubbing at the lectern for animated, comic, historical and commercial films, among others. 2. Reading texts and scripts in different literary styles

Dates: from 6th to 19th November. (Wednesday 6th: selection interview – From 12:00 to 14:00 hours. 13th , 14th , 15th , 18th & 19th November: workshop).
Duration: 15 hours approx.
Timetable: From 11:00 to 14:00 hours.

DOCUMENTARY FILM WORKSHOP

“FROM SCRIPT TO REALITY”

Held by FRAN ARAUJO

This is a theoretical course where, every day, theory serves to develop an idea for a documentary. Through key films in the history of documentary film, and formally interesting modern films, participants will study different ways of facing cinema of the real.

Aim: The workshop aims to make each student discover or decide how he/she wishes to translate his/her idea into a movie. They will see a variety of ways of writing a voiceover, organizing an interview or directing a scene with "non-actors".
Participant profile; All those interested in the documentary as a film genre.
Content: Lectures. 1. Introduction to the documentary. 2. The documentary script. 3. Documentary script elements.
4. From idea to realization.

Dates: Wednesday, 13th & Thursday 14th November
Duration: 9 hours
Timetable: From 10:00 to 14:30 hours
Place: Centro Cultural La Alhóndiga.
Number of students per workshop: Between 12 & 15. Free of charge.
