SYNOPSIS:
No sooner does he step onto the land of his parents, when Xavi, the new recruit of Pamplona´s Osasuna, is confronted with the past. At the age of thirty plus, he has stepped out of the shitty little country for the first time and now he becomes reacquainted with Rosana, who has spent the past twenty years, between love and hate, waiting for Xavi to come to fetch her and recount his memories of that Uruguay of 1973. The Uruguay where its famous democracy and its millions of head of cattle could not hide the discontent of the people, the endemic corruption of politicians, the Tupamaros, the militiamen or the coup d´état that we already know is going to happen. In the midst of everything, the Rosana´s father and Xavi´s wanted nothing other than to protect their children and live a life true to their ideas ... and watch football, of course. Because in the shitty little country, football is everything, even in times of war.
