The mission is very simple: to go to a funeral and deposit a military uniform at the tomb of an old man, a friend of his grandfather. Miguel, accompanied by Lola and William, leaves that island in Valencia which is the neighborhood of Nazareth. He roams the periphery of Valencia looking for a cemetery, and ultimately facing a deserted city, at least for a day. The trip gradually becomes a haphazard journey full of uncertainties, and much longer than his child mind could have predicted. Miguel, Lola and William have to continuously face a feeling of abandonment and loneliness, which they manage to overcome thanks to their own determination, relying on each other. With no money, nor too much help from adults they find along the way, these three kids try to keep a promise that, through obstinacy, they make their own.
