SYNOPSIS:
En route to the Algarve, a man decides to tell a travel companion about the greatest and most tragic love of his life. He works as an accountant for his uncle in Lisbon. From the small balcony of his office he can see the window of the house opposite, where there is a young girl who likes to stand in the window cooling herself off with a Chinese fan. He falls in love with her at first sight, but his uncle does not approve of his feelings.
