When I was little, I was told that my grandfather Pepe had died. I later discovered that he had emigrated to Argentina after the Civil War in search of a better life. My grandmother Maria never knew anything else about him. Alone, she had to leave Spain to raise their three children. This was the beginning of the family diaspora that keeps us scattered throughout the world. ´Pepe the Andalusian´ is a journey against time and oblivion. A story that only raises questions and hides unexpected discoveries: fragmented pieces of the picture of my grandfather, whom I have only an incomplete map.
