Eating in Segovia for less than 20 €: From 9 to 20 November
For the duration of MUCES, the Festival and Segovia Tourism have brought cinema and gastronomy together at affordable prices to make it
possible to eat 'cinematically' well for less than 20 €. Over twenty restaurants have prepared "cine" menus bearing titles of movies that
were shot in Segovia, in order to offer the public the most exquisite Segovian cuisine, while sharing movie moments. Some establishments have
chosen titles of films whose cast and crew dined there while filming, tasting the dishes on their menu for a month or more, and even placing
the restaurant name in the credits at the end of those films; others have opted to let fly their imagination, combining title and meal in a
special tandem of pleasure. Come in then, and sit at these "cine" tables. |

Film: The 13 Roses
The main actors and a large part of the film crew stayed in this
establishment for over a month while shooting was in progress,
trying these and other dishes from our menu many times. In fact, the
establishment appears in the film credits under Acknowledgements.
Menu:
Cream of Castilian soup with chanterelle mushrooms from the pine
wood.
Chunky, boneless filet of cod on a confit of tomato, leeks and
onions made with Ribeiro cream (Tribute to pilgrims of Xacobeo
2010). Inspired by the “tapa” that won the Decalles 2010 competition.
Pastry of aubergine with curried lamb and market garden vegetables
topped with an apricot sauce. Inspired by the winning “tapa” from
the Decalles 2007 competition.
