SYNOPSIS:
German journalist Felix Winter tours the United States looking for topics to write a book, but as he doesn´t even get to start it, his publisher cancels the contract. When Felix decides to return to Germany, he meets a woman at the airport, and as there are no flights until the next day, he spends the night with her. The woman disappears, but leaves a message: that she is going to be with her daughter Alice, aged nine, to Amsterdam to meet up with her.
