SYNOPSIS:
The exact size of 35x45 mm is specified for passport photos needed for the new identity document that the Russian authorities have made mandatory throughout the country. Lyutikov, a photographer responsible for taking these photographs, captures much more than a mere likeness. His portrait photographs immerse the viewer in the stories that normally escape these images. The new document is a passport to modernity; without it you can not even buy a train ticket or anything at all.
